Drighlington Brass Band played to an appreciative audience at St Mary’s Church, Horbury evening concert on Saturday 23 February 2008.

Drighlington resident and former Drighlington Band member, Graham Cole, has won 3rd prize in the Swiss Brass Band Association Composers Competition.

Drighlington now officially a Yorkshire Championship Section Band

Following the recent departure of Shane Foster to pastures new in New Zealand, the Drighlington Band are pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Belcher as their new Musical Director and Conductor.

It's a whole new world for our Musical Director as he bids a fond farewell to the band and hello to a new life in New Zealand.

Heatwave and torrential rain in the same hour does nothing to dampen our spirits!

Drighlington gains promotion back into the Championship Section for 2007!

Drighlington win the Yorkshire Regionals 1st Section, qualifying us for the National Finals in September and guaranteeing our promotion back into the Champion Section in style!
