Brass Bands
While we can't list every brass band on the planet in this little space below are just a few bands who we think deserve a special mention and you might be interested in visiting.
- GrangeMoor Brass Band
The GrangeMoor Band won the Second Section Yorkshire Regionals title in 2006 and took our place in the 1st Section in 2007. There have been many ties over the last few years and a lot of friendships made between Drig and GrangeMoor.
- Dodworth Colliery Band
Another great Yorkshire band just starting out again in the banding world. Dodworth band used to be a highly successful Championship band back in the 70's and 80's. They have now been reborn after a long time away and are making just as much of a mark on the brass band world. In 2006 they were crowned both the 4th Section regional Champions the 4th Section National Champions!
- Canterbury Foundation Brass (New Zealand)
Canterbury Brass is an A-Grade Band in New Zealand and now home to our former Musical Director, Shane Foster and his son Chris.
